Every May and June, peaches and plums are harvested in the many tourist farms along Miaoli County Route 130, Sanyi Township.
To promote the season and invite people to taste the fruits, the county government also holds a variety of fun activities.
The “Pumkin Tunnel” is the event highlight. Visitors will find themselves walking under numerous dazzling golden pumpkins and wild emerald-green vines.During the event, all kinds of pumpkins are displayed. The sight of pumpkins in peculiar shapes and giant and mini pumpkins of more than 600 times difference in weight is simply amazing. Also, the idyllic views of Zhaoqiao are not to be missed. Weekend biking tours are much recommended here.
