Every year, during the first and second cultivations, Yuanli Farmers’ Association decorates the rice fields in front of Love Orchard with special graphics, which are popular among visitors.
Now, as the Mid-moon Festival approaches, the association has created baseball (the “national ball” of Taiwan) and pomelo graphics in the fields, under the theme of “pomelos are fragrant and sweet, and people enjoy reunions under a big round Moon.” Other than creating an aura of “happy reunions,” the association aims to share a positive attitude with people through the decorations. The fields are open to visitors 09:00-16:30, Tuesdays to Sundays, from now until early November.
In addition to appreciating the colorful rice fields, visitors may pick fruits in the Love Orchard, or taste traditional noodles at a local market down the mountain.
