It mainly displays the special geology of Houyenshan nature reserve; including sandy land, pebble flow land, cliff land, general mountain land and valley wetland, and introduction to the natural ecology of the Sanyi area.
In the Center, there are ecological explanation and exhibition about plants, insects and humanities, Houyenshan pavilion, multimedia audio-visual classroom showing ecological films. It is an instructive ecological Education Center.
