Once an arsenal and a site which early Han settlers used to defend their homes, the place now serves people as an ecological hiking area. Along the trails, camphor, Taiwan Acacia trees and bamboos are grown. During the blooming season of Tung trees, visitors can appreciate romantic scenes of falling flowers.
