2020 is the year of mountain tourism in Taiwan. Culture and Tourism Bureau, Miaoli County will gather up people to pick trash at Manapan Mountain on October 28, and Mingfeng Historic Trail and Chuguan Hiking Trail on October 31 & 31, 2020, promoting eco-friendliness sustainability in the region.
Also on October 17 & 31, “Mini Happy Tour” are held, respectively in Sanyi and Xihu. The tour includes DIY classes and off-the-beaten-track visits. Through the tour, the organizer hopes to spread happiness in Maioli.
2021 will be the year of bicycle tours. On October 25, a special event entitled “Let’s Ride” will be held to introduce a range of bicycle paths and the places to visit in Miaoli.
