The hot spring area in Tai’an, Miaoli has a history of 100 years. Participated in the event of the 2020-2021 Top Hot Springs in Taiwan - Hot Spring Feature Selection organized by the Tourism Bureau, Ministry of Transportation and Communications, it won the second place with more than 280,000 votes among the 19 hot spring areas in Taiwan and won the silver award of the Ten Hot Springs and Ten Beauties and the gold award of the CP Value Award for the best added value for tourism. In order to promote the top hot spring in Miaoli, the Culture and Tourism Bureau, Miaoli County has specially cooperated with the TV program the Light Up New Taiwan to shoot the unit program to recommend people in Taiwan to visit Miao during the Spring Festival.
This program is scheduled to be broadcast on Era TV Much Channel (channel 38) from 11:30 to 12:00 on Jan. 15, 2022. The program uses the brand of the Top Hot Spring of Tai’an • Hot Spring Trip of Miaoli as its theme and combines the information of the top hot spring indicators, experience tourism, and hot spring impression to conduct the character interview and in-depth report and produce a deeply touching local industry story.
The Culture and Tourism Bureau, Miaoli County has specially planned a series of promotional marketing activities including the preferential scheme of the use of the quintuple stimulus vouchers for hot spring hotels, the search for 100 hot spring happy stories, and the lucky draw by collecting stamps from the spending on the Top Hot Spring of Tai’an • Hot Spring Trip of Miaoli. It also makes use of the environmental renovation project of Hot Spring Area of Tai’an - the optimization of the foot bathing pool and recreational facilities and the completion and opening of the new hot spring egg pool to create highlights for a new tourist attraction. By doing so, it is hoped to attract visitors to be away from the hustle and bustle of cities and come to Miaoli to enjoy its humanistic beauty and experience the unique “travel for hot spring culture”.
In addition, the event of the Mountain Viewing and the Wind Riding Hot Spring Trip for the Search of 100 Hot Spring Happy Stories will be conducted from today until Jan. 28, 2022. If tourists visit legal hotels in Tai’an hot spring area for hot spring, dining, or accommodation during the event period, they can upload pictures and texts of their hot spring sharing to the event area for Traveling around Miaoli on Facebook to see if they have a chance to win a hot spring voucher. A total of 100 vouchers will be issued.
In addition to the Tai’an Hot Spring Area, there are many hot spring treasures such as Nan Zhuang, Da Hu and Yuan Li town in Miaoli, which provides diverse and cosy hot spring resorts for tourists to choose from. What’s new is that the event of the Top Hot Spring of Tai’an • Interesting Stamp Collection of Hot Spring Trip of Miaoli will be held from Feb. 12, 2022 to Apr. 3, 2022. Visitors have the opportunity to draw a wealth of gifts such as iPhone 13 mobile phones, accommodation vouchers for honeymoon suite, hot spring vouchers for two-person rooms and for public pools if they spend at the selected stores and hotels for a certain amount of money and collect 3 stamps. Visitors from all over Taiwan are welcome to actively participate in the event.
