To enhance Miaoli's international profile as a travel destination, the Culture and Tourism Bureau of Miaoli County participated in the Thai International Travel Fair 2025 from January 13 to January 20, 2025. On January 14, the bureau attended the 2025 Taiwan Promotion Conference at the Hyatt Regency Bangkok Sukhumvit, collaborating with Flower Home, a tourism and leisure farm based in Zhuolan Township, and several other Taiwanese travel businesses to showcase Miaoli's unique charm and specialty products to Thai travelers.
The Thai International Travel Fair 2025, hosted at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center in Bangkok from January 16 to January 20, featured a vibrant exhibition by Miaoli County. The booth, themed around its mascot "Miaoli Meow," included promotional videos, themed gifts, and multilingual tourism brochures, highlighting the county's rich Hakka culture and diverse tourism resources. The booth attracted significant attention from Thai visitors, greatly boosting Miaoli's visibility in the Southeast Asian market.
The Miaoli County Government will continue to promote the county as a premier travel destination for Southeast Asian visitors through innovative marketing strategies and cross-regional partnerships, ensuring that more people can experience Miaoli's natural beauty and rich cultural heritage.
