Situated in Tianliao Neighborhood, Toufen City, the temple is just 1km away from Zhunan Township. The temple worships the Holy Mother in the Sky (Goddess Mazu). The statue looks solemn and the hall glitters. The carvings are refined with toned-down magnificence. In the front yard are old verdant bayan trees that make the place feel especially peaceful. Hsu Ying-chien, a grand secretariat of the Qing Dynasty, first advised to the royal court to build the temple in 1853. The temple has been so effective that people from Toufen, Sanwan, Nanzhuang, Ermei, Beipu, Zaoqiao, Zhunan, Hsinchu and Miaoli all come to pay tribute to the goddess and learn to do good deeds.
