Located within Lilin Ginger Garden and at the crossing point of Dahu, Sanyi and Tongluo Townships, the temple was built in 1932 by resident Chiu A-de to spread celestial messages as Xuanhua Temple. After it became popular, it was refurbished to be Shengheng Temple as it is today. At Yundong Mountain in the back, there is a 25m-tall platform that provides stunning natural scenery, including the mountains and rivers of Dahu Township and sunrise and sunset views. There are fruit farms to pick fruits nearby.
