The Tourism Bureau, Ministry of Transportation and Communications held the 2022-2023 Taiwan Hot Spring Awards which invited people to vote online for their favorite hot springs. After a professional evaluation, Miaoli County’s Tai’an Hot Spring received a total of 70,156 votes, placing it first among Taiwan’s 19 major hot spring areas. As a result, it received a bronze medal “Perfect Hot Spring Award” and a gold medal “Best CP Award”. We would like to thank local residents and travelers from across Taiwan for their support.
Tai’an Hot Spring area in Miaoli has over a century of history, its quality sodium bicarbonate springs and primitive forest landscape are known far and wide, with a name “beauty hot spring” widely used. The area combines the brand new Wakhul Family Park in the Atayal Cultural and Industry Zone and new surrounding tourist spots that include a footbath pool and hot spring egg cooking. It is hoped these will attract more tourists to Miaoli to experience the area’s unique hot spring culture.
