This year the county government and Taipower Tunghsiao Power Plant once again held the annual 2023 Miao Nanhai Landscape Art Festival. The event runs from July 8 to August 27 and takes place in water recreational areas including Yuangang Seaside Park, Xindiaoju and Yuanli Chushui Beach, where a total of 30 works are being exhibited.
The 2023 Miao Nanhai Landscape Art Festival focuses on the “sea” as its theme, and has invited three oversea artists from France, Bulgaria and Cyprus to engage in a dialogue with local artists on the role of handicraft arts in different cultures. The artists embrace the "sea" as a focus for their creative work and each piece is infused with care and respect for the ocean, while showcasing an admiration for nature.
During the event, holiday markets and activities will be held on Saturdays and Sundays. Yuanli Seaside Art Center is also holding a joint exhibition of paintings by local artists which is highly recommended. Visit Tungshiao and Yuanli to experience the beauty of art and culture.
