Being the first river in Miaoli County implemented with fish protection policies and having received the High quality Natural Eco Landscapes Award, the site offers numerous clean streams along the 1.6km long fish protection trail.
From time to time, one may find fish showing up in groups and along the way, there are Thorn Apple, Muller's Barbeta among other ecological attractions.
