Located right in the center of Xindian Village, Shitan Township Cultural Center is fairly easy to reach by public transport. The old building was formerly the Shitan Township Office. Today, it serves as an easily accessible place for audiences of arts and cultural events.
The refurbished center covers 500 square meters at three stories tall. Locals like to do leisure activities here, such as reading and exercising. From time to time, professional artisans are here to give lectures on bamboo crafting, straw weaving, and traditional paper-making. This is a good chance to learn about old craftsmanship.
