Built in the late colonial times, the wooden dormitories have a traditional Japanese style. They were declared by the Miaoli County Government as a heritage site in 2003. Today, plenty of flowers, grass and trees are grown here. This leisurely area attracts many people to take memorial wedding photos each year.
