The Economic Development Department of Miaoli County Government recently invited blogger Damon to make a promotional video for the county’s three biggest tourist areas - Guisha Lane of Nanzhuang, Shuimei Sculpture Street of Sanyi, and Tongluo Shopping District. The short film showcases Miaolsi’ most special stores, and the county government hopes that it will help to boost businesses in the three places.
From July 15 to December 31, visitors using stimulus vouchers in appointed stores in Guihua Lane of Nanzhuang can join a cash draw, upon spending just NT$200 or more.
From July 7 to August 31 at Shuimei Sculpture Street in Sanyi, tourists can get discounts for sculptures in selected stores. Some even offer small gifts additionally.
From July 15 to September 30 in Tongluo Shopping District, tourists who spend NT$500 or more can join a prize draw. The prizes include an iPhone, a free two-day tour for two in town, and a “buy 1,000 get 100 free” plan.
